About

The Ottawa City Farm Foundation is both a working farm and an educational environment dedicated to neurodivergent children and youth. Its programs are sensory-informed and rooted in respect, compassion, and connection to the land.

Students take part in animal care, food and flower cultivation, and art therapy. These activities build life skills, strengthen social connections, and encourage independence. Learning follows the natural cycles of the seasons, nurturing resilience and bonds with nature.

The Farm demonstrates how agricultural learning can be integrated to support children and youth while assisting families. It stands as a model of inclusion and an example of how interdependence with the earth cultivates sustainable communities.
